Writing articles has got to be one of the most productive ways to earn money on the internet, especially if you are a complete beginner to internet marketing. Some of the advantages are:
· You don't need a website
· You don't have to invest any money
· It's quick (once you have the hang of it)
· The results are pretty immediate
If you're a beginner to making money online and don't know where to start, then writing articles is the perfect way to get started. You don't need some fancy website that you have to pay upfront before seeing any profit yourself, plus building a website and then promoting it can take months with no guarantee that you will make an appreciable amount of money from it.
Writing articles is free and easy and you don't need money to begin so you have absolutely nothing to lose.
Google Adwords is another favourite that everyone swears by, but unless you have a 100 dollars a week to play around with and don't mind using then it's best to steer clear while your going through the beginning stages of making money on the internet, leave it until you have already made some money that you can invest into it.
Writing your very first article can be a bit of a daunting prospect, chances are you won't have a clue what to write about! But don't let that worry you the truth is you don't need to think of things to write about and you won't even need to know anything about the subject that you have picked to write an article on, don't get me wrong it helps if you know a bit about the subject you have chosen but it's defiantly not a requirement, because there are hundreds of people that do know and have already written about it so all you have to do is a bit of research and then write down in your own words what you have learnt, easy!
The only thing that can stop you from getting started in the first place is procrastination! What happened to me is I kept putting it off and putting it off and finding more important things that I thought needed doing first and it ended up being months before I wrote my first article! Don't let this happen to you!
Once you write the first few lines of your article the rest will just flow naturally and you will wonder why you worried about it in the first place!
When you have written a few simple and easy articles then you can start taking it more seriously by researching keywords, keywords that people are searching for but ones that no one has written anything for, by doing that you will stand a better chance of getting in the first few pages of the major search engines.
But the very first thing you should do is what Nike has been telling us for years "Just Do It!!"
